Q
How much disk space is required to store the terminal connection history?
A

A connection‑history DB record is newly assigned with one record per device each time a new device is detected. For devices that have already been detected, no new record is assigned until the device has terminated.

The size of a single connection‑history record is variable, so there is no fixed value. However, in the connection‑history database of an evaluation system that is actually in operation, the average size per record is 345 bytes.

Based on this figure, if we consider a case in which all 50 devices in a network segment are started in the morning and shut down in the evening, the storage size in the database will increase each month by 345 bytes per record × 50 records × 30 days = 517,500 bytes per month.
