Please tell me how "IP change" of the Koban Alarm basic rule is judged.
A

In the NetSkateKoban Manager, when an IP address change of a detected device is identified within the same monitoring network, "IP Change" of the Koban Alarm basic rule will be judged.

The monitoring network refers to the network configured on the NetSkateKoban Sensor's interface. You can check the network information from NetSkateKoban Manager under "Settings > Manage IP Network Information".

The specific conditions and results are as follows.

Condition 1 Condition 2 The result when Condition 2 occurs after Condition 1
A device (MAC address A – IP address a) is detected on Monitoring Network 1. A device (MAC address A – IP address b) is detected on Monitoring Network 1.
  • "IP Change" of the Koban Alarm basic rule will be judged.
  • "Koban Alarm – IP Address Change (IP address a ⇒ IP address b)" is displayed in the NetSkate Event Console.
  • The detected device information (MAC address A – IP address a) is updated to (MAC address A – IP address b).
  • "IP Address Change" is additionally displayed in the connection status of the detected device information (MAC address A – IP address b).
A device (MAC address A – IP address a) is detected on Monitoring Network 1. A device (MAC address A – IP address b) is detected on Monitoring Network 2.
  • "IP Change" of the Koban Alarm basic rule will not be judged.
  • The connection status of the detected device information (MAC address A – IP address a) is updated to "Terminated".
  • The detected device information (MAC address A – IP address b) is newly added.
