Q
In the NetSkate Event Console, notifications for the Koban Alarm "IP Address Change" is increasing. Is there a way to suppress these notifications?
A

Notifications related to the Koban Alarm "IP Address Change" can be suppressed using the following features.

  • Advanced Policy (Rule Type: "Koban Alarm (Basic)" → "IP Change" Rule)
    • By selecting "Do not alert" in the action settings, you can suppress notifications. Additionally, by configuring conditions such as the device's IP address, MAC address, target networks, or specific dates and times, you can flexibly control whether notifications should be issued.
  • Exception MAC Address Registration
    • If you register the target device's MAC address in "Register Exception MAC Addresses" under "Manager Settings", that device will not be detected and no alarms will be triggered. However, please note that this excludes the device from all monitoring and control by NetSkateKoban, including display in the current detected terminal list, recording of connection history, and policy application.
