The NetSkateKoban sensor sends the MAC address and IP address pairs of the terminals connected to the monitored segment to the manager. The manager receives the information and checks the MAC addresses to determine whether the terminals are unauthorized.
When a sensor sends a set of address information to the manager, it sends only one 393-byte packet.
For example, if a segment with 60 connected devices is monitored using NetSkateKoban sensors, the average traffic is approximately 308 packets per hour. This translates to 123 packets per device per day, meaning that each monitored device generates an average of approximately 48,339 bytes (5.6 bps) of traffic per day.
