o For each target IP address, a maximum of the number of packets shown in the table below will be sent.
o The actual number of packets transmitted depends on the number of IP addresses detected on the subnetwork where the target device was identified, between the time the NetSKateKoban sensor is activated and the time the interference packets are transmitted.
– NetSkateKoban Sensor (Appliance Products): "POISONING RESTRICTION" is enabled (default setting)
– DHCP/ARP Sensor Agent: "When interfering with target device communications, only interfere with communications to the detected IP address" is enabled (default setting)
=> If you disable these options, the device will send a number of packets equal to the number of IP addresses in the detected subnet.
o When communication is interfered with for multiple devices (IP addresses), the number of packets sent is multiplied by the number of devices.
o The maximum number of packets per second is calculated by multiplying the "maximum number of packets transmitted per second (per packet)" by the "number of devices that can be interfered with simultaneously".
