When switches are connected in a cascade configuration, SwiMon may misinterpret the cascade ports as having many devices connected to them. Is there any configuration required to prevent this?

No special configuration is required; simply register each switch with SwiMon to monitor it, and it will work without any issues.

Specifically, it has a feature that automatically identifies the ports connecting the switches being monitored, and is configured to ignore device information detected on those ports.
