Depending on the L3 switch implementation, the same MAC address may be used across IP interfaces in multiple VLANs. Consequently, whenever that MAC address is detected in a different VLAN, the terminal connection information previously stored as "currently connected" is recorded as terminal connection history data.
If this situation occurs or is expected to occur, please register the relevant MAC address information on the "Manager Settings" ⇒ "Register Exception MAC Addresses" screen and operate the system so that the terminal is treated as a terminal excluded from detection.
To identify terminals for which a large amount of terminal connection history data is being recorded, use the "Terminal Connection History List (Past)" feature in the Koban browser.
On the "Terminal Connection History List (Past)" screen, search for connection history data from the past 30 minutes or so, then sort by the "MAC Address" column to confirm how much history data was recorded for each MAC address during that period.
