What is PacketChaser?

PacketChaser is a packet tracking system that uses packet printing devices placed on the network. Even if the source of a packet is forged, the source network can be determined.

What is the function of PacketChaser?

PacketChaser has the following functions.

Easy-to-understand user interface linked to network map

By adopting the network map-based GUI cultivated in the NetSkate series, it provides visually impactful results.

Privacy-friendly tracking system

When calculating the packet print value, data that can identify the user (source address, destination address, data part, etc.) is not saved in its original form. A packet printing device only responds to inquiries from its associated packet tracking manager.

A system that automatically performs everything from detection to tracking

Packet tracking is automatically triggered by alerts from network intrusion detection devices, so there is no additional burden on network administrators.

Uses SNMP as cooperation protocol

We use the Internet standard protocol SNMP between the packet tracking manager and the network intrusion detection device.
