What is SNMP Trap Linkage/Syslog Linkage?

By utilizing SNMP Trap and Syslog functions to notify NetSkateKoban of this information, it becomes possible to automatically perform various actions as described below.

By receiving SNMP Trap from the Ethernet switch, the following actions can be taken to enhance network stability.

• Port blocking due to loop detection
• Notification to the administrator due to link up/link down detection

Even if an infected terminal is detected by anti-virus software or similar tools, it is very difficult to quickly identify the location of the terminal and take measures to prevent the spread of the infection. By linking NetSkateKoban with anti-virus products and UTM, it becomes possible to automatically identify the target terminal and disrupt its communication, thereby preventing the spread of infection in real-time.
Additionally, in the case of NetSkateKoban Enterprise, it is possible to verify the relevant terminal on the network map, allowing for quick identification of its location and user.

• Linkage with anti-virus products
  • NetSkateKoban Manager obtains information about the virus-infected terminal detected by the anti-virus product and precisely blocks that terminal.
• Linkage with F/W and UTM
  • NetSkateKoban Manager obtains information about terminal engaging in abnormal communication detected by firewall products and UTM products, and blocks the terminal from the network.
