NetSkateKoban Nano is a product that responds to the need to “build security functions (detection and connection blocking of unauthorised terminals) to protect information systems from the threat of unauthorised terminals without any hassle”.
NetSkateKoban's powerful security features are retained, but can be easily implemented without the need for specialist knowledge.
Flexible support for small networks to large networks spanning multiple locations.
Note: The product that supports networks configured with VLAN (Virtual LAN) is NetSkateKoban Nano(V).
Connect NetSkateKoban Nano to the LAN port of the switch or hub. After connection, NetSakteKoban Nano automatically starts collecting terminal information (terminal detection); accessing NetSkateKoban Nano's web UI with a browser allows you to see a list of detected terminals.
Select the terminals that are allowed to connect to the network from the list of detected terminals and register them in the ATL (list of terminals allowed to connect). If there is already ATL file (NetSkateKoban Nano ATL format), it can also be uploaded to NetSkateKoban Nano. In the ATL settings, you can also allow connections for an arbitrary period of time on a terminal-by-terminal basis.
Start monitoring for unauthorised terminal connections. Terminals not registered in ATL are considered as unauthorised terminals.
Nano Manager is a tool (free option) that allows centralised management of multiple NetSkateKoban Nano sensors.
Nano Manager can check the status of terminal connections and upload/download terminal information on NetSkateKoban Nano, which is monitored at each site.
With Nano Manager, it is also easy to manage the terminals present at all locations in the country.
Note: It is possible to operate NetSkateKoban Nano without Nano Manager, as NetSkateKoban Nano operates autonomously.
SNMP Traps and Syslogs sent from anti-virus products and UTM (Unified Threat Management)s can be used to acquire terminal information, identify terminals and link to functions such as blocking and email notification. This function can be used to deter the spread of computer viruses and other infections and provide a multi-layer defence.
